Often we wish to increase the resolution of an image, the values of the new pixels may be found by interpolation between neighboring pixels in the image. The following links provide information on interpolation:

Minification

Minification is the process of deducing an image's size. One of the most common problems during this problem is aliasing artifacts. The following links provide information on minification:
