This course provides students with an overview of computer and software engineering, as well as strategies for being successful at MSOE. Student teams build working embedded computer systems using an engineering process that includes system requirements, design, implementation and verification. (2-2-3) Objectives

In this course you and a partner will be loaned a LEGO Mindstorm kit. You and your partner will be responsible for maintaining the kit and will be assess a fee for any missing or damaged parts at the end of the quarter. Quizzes
Quizzes will be given nearly every week. They will be announced at least one lecture in advance. The lowest quiz score will be dropped. No make-up quizzes will be given. My Schedule
* I would like to have lunch with you individually or as a group to get to know you better. If we eat in RWJ, housing will pick up my lunch bill. If you would prefer to eat elsewhere, we will each be responsible for our own bill. Feel free to suggest another time if the time above does not work for you. Grading
