Project
Due Friday, Week 9

Assignment

The research project consists of:

  • Research a topic of digital image processing that was not covered in lecture.
  • Implement a application that demonstrates the topic.
  • Write a report (800-1000 words) that describes the topic and your application. Your report should have at least two references.
  • Develop and deliver an oral presentation that describes the topic and uses your application to demonstrate it.

You are encouraged to incorporate your project within the application you have been developing in lab.

You may work alone or with a partner.

Submission (due 11:00pm, Friday of week 9)

Your submission consists of the following:

  • Your report (as one PDF document)
  • An executable application file (as a .zip file including any necessary .jar/.dll/whatevers)
  • A .zip file containing all your documented source code/project files necessary to compile and execute your application. You do not need to include the library files that you obtained from the web. However, you should provide clear instructions on how to obtain the files, as well as, pointers to installation instructions (if clear instructions do not exist, you are required to write them).

You should use the submission form below to submit your files. If the .zip file is larger than two megabytes, then just submit the memo and bring the .zip file to lab on a portable drive.
